2008 Newsletter

Seasons Greetings from Kim Corbin of Nature’s Intention

In the spirit of the season I wish you health, harmony and abundance.

2008 has come and gone!  It is almost the end of January, and I must admit I am late posting my yearend newsletter, so I apologize for that!

It has been a very interesting year for me with a few lower moments which are very much overshadowed by the joyful ones.  To quote a good friend of mine, when we grow and stretch in our consciousness, it doesn’t mean life’s challenges disappear but it certainly means that we flow through the ups and downs faster and with great awareness and appreciation for what is truly important, “Finding the Joy in ourselves and our lives!”  When our hearts are truly opened we can experience life for what it is; good bad and indifferent.  I think my favourite quote for the year is, “This too, will pass!”  I always said this to myself in challenging times, however I had an “ah ha” moment and realized this applies to every moment in our lives; good, bad or indifferent.  So my goal for 2009 is to make every moment count being conscious to my own needs and that of my family, friends, community and our New Earth.  Let’s make a difference in 2009!

Glimpses into 2009

Tips for 2009

Stay hydrated!

Did you know that two thirds of the human body is made up of water. That means that if a person weighs about 70 kilograms (154 pounds), their body contains about 46 litres of water.  Almost 70% of this water is inside the body's cells, 20% is in the space surrounding cells, and slightly less than 10% is in the bloodstream. The water in the human body is essential to keeping it healthy  It only takes a loss of only  1 - 2% of your body's ideal water content to cause dehydration.  Click here for more info.

Be positive!

Focus on Rejuvenation!

During a twelve month period 95% of all the atoms that make up your 50 trillion cells are replaced "without a sound".  Your skin is newed every four weeks.  Gums holding your teeth are replaced every two weeks. Our stomach lining is replaced every four days.  The surface cells of our digestive system that make first contact with our food are recreated by the millions every five minutes.

New Atoms flowing throughout our liver are replaced every six weeks.  The content of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen in our brain tissues are different today from a year ago.  The flow of atoms through our skeleton system renews bone environment every three months.  Damaged nerve cells grow new branches.  The brain is now demonstrating a repair system that was totally unknown a few years ago.

The balance and effectiveness of these continuing rhythms of cell replacements have everything to do with the quality of life experienced by each of us.  Choose to regenerate.  Do your part to keep your energy harmonized mind, body, heart and soul!

I look forward to sharing time with you in 2009.
